Thanks for a successful North Carolina League for Nursing Fall Workshop with the theme "Best practices for creating the modern learning environment in nursing education".   The workshop was held on Nov 1, 2019 in Greensboro, NC. 

Topics included Simulation to prepare new nurses ready for the workplace with Mary Holtschneider, Test item writing hands-on workshop and Test item analysis with Tonya Willingham, Innovative technologies in online learning with Julie Hinkle, Quality matters and online instructional design with Susan Lynch, and a closing keynote by Pamela Hamilton on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for a new graduate nurse to successfully transition to practice.  Handouts are available to members only and are visible under the events tab after you log in.
